Title : Full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (Alpharetta and Woodstock)
Reports To : Clinic Manger
Summary of Position : Our growing outpatient rehab facility is seeking a full time Physical Therapy Assistant to provide direct patient care services under the supervision of an experienced Physical Therapists.
Physical Therapy Assistant Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy
- Current license as a PTA
- Valid Driver’s license
- Current CPR certification
- Passionate desire to provide excellent customer service
Duties and Responsibilities* : Confer with physical therapy staff or others to discuss and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, or coordinating treatment.
- Administer active or passive manual therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, or electrical modality treatments.
- Measure patients’ range-of-joint motion, body parts, or vital signs to determine effects of treatments or for patient evaluations.
- Complete documentation effectively and in a timely manner
- Monitor operation of equipment and record use of equipment and administration of treatment.
- Instruct, motivate, safeguard, and assist patients as they practice exercises or functional activities
